About Jiacheng

Jiacheng Shen is a 4th-year Ph.D. student from ARISE Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (supervised by Prof. Michael R. Lyu). He received a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from Fudan Unversity in 2020 (supervised by Prof. Yangfan Zhou).

Jiacheng’s research interests span memory systems, distributed systems, and cloud computing. Specifically, he is devoted to building high-performance and resource-efficient systems for next-generation data center. His recent work focuses on improving the efficiency and reliability of storage systems on disaggregated memory. He has published 9 papers in major conferences and journals in the areas of computer systems and software engineering, including SOSP, OSDI, FAST, ICDCS, DSN, etc.
